I get a +1 minute pause when mounting a NFS partition. The partition is
30GB with 21GB used. The server is a Mandrake 10.1 install with kernel 2.6.8 and the client is a Mandrake 10.1 install with kernel 2.6.11 and the nics are 100 Mps. Once the partition is mounted everything is fine. Any ideas? -- clear skies, Joe http://users.erols.com/jringer3/astro1.htm Joe R |

If your using names... can you do a ping name and have it resolve t the IP Address quickly? -- D.A.M. - Mothers Against Dyslexia see http://www.jacksnodgrass.com for my contact info. jack - Grapevine/Richardson |

Yes pings are quick. -- clear skies, Joe http://users.erols.com/jringer3/astro1.htm |
