I get the followin warning sometimes when I attempt to
sign off "There are 1 user(s) connected to your computer. Shutting down will disconnect them. Do you want to continue?" I have no visible shares. Any suggestion on how to determine who is connected to my PC? KB |

Turn off file sharing via the Control Panel / Network. If someone complains then you will know who it is. If no one complains then it's probably just as well that you have plugged a big security hole. |

To install it, go to Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs | Windows Setup | System Tools. To run it, either click Start | Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Netwatcher or click Start | Run, type "netwatch" in the box, and click OK. -- Best Wishes, Steve Winograd, MS-MVP (Windows Networking) Please post any reply as a follow-up message in the news group for everyone to see.
