I've set up a Linksys wireless network set up between my
Dell W98 desktop and IBM ThinkPad Windows XP Pro. I can see and access my desktop files on my laptop. I can see my laptop on my desktop, but when I click on it, I get an ENTER NETWORK PASSWORD window that says: Resourse: \\(my laptop name)\IPC$ Then it asks for a password, but any password I try, it says PASSWORD IS INCORRECT. TRY AGAIN. Help? Thanks. (Since this is a password problem, thought I'd post again changing the subject.) Peggy Peggy |

You are trying > to access an XP machine and it doesn't "know who you are" > therefore it won't let you in. I run W2000 on a desktop and W98SE on a laptop and I have the same password problem (on the laptop). However I do not have any user accounts on the laptop, nor do I wish to. How do I get around this?
