Default SIOCGSTAMP ioctl request for TCP

Hi,

Is the option SIOCGSTAMP ioctl request supported for TCP sockets ???
This request gets the timestamp of the last packet received on a socekt.
The man pages suggests its NOT, but i would like to get a confirmation.

since it seems, looking into the kernel code, that the timestamp is
getting stored in sock struct for udp and raw socket but not fot tcp
socket, (which explains why my ioctl call is failing all the times), can
anyone shed some light on why it is not supported for TCP socket.

Thanks

Amit
