wireless networking and Toshiba Satellite laptop

When I try to install the driver for linksys or smc ez
connect wireless network card in my Toshiba Satellite 2100
CDT (Win 98) laptop, using the driver on either company's
CD, I get a message asking for the Windows 98 SE CD, but
the software doesn't recognize the Toshiba proprietary
configuration utilities CD, bundled with its own WIN 98.

Anyone else have this problem? solution??
