vredir.vxd fatal exception error

Hello all,

I am have a problem described in KB article:

We just completed a migration from Novell to Microsoft 2k
servers. After the removal of Novell client the BSOD
errors described in the article above began. The problem
is that all of our Win 98 machines are very old and they
are all OEM licenses. Micrsoft will not provide support
for OEM products. The OEM suppliers don't seem to want
to help either. I'm just wondering if anyone has the fix
for this solution as installing dsclient didn't rectify
anything.
