I have WIN 98 SE and when I click on Network in the
control panel the network window pops up but it only has one selection tab, (configuration) and it is missing the other two tabs. How can I fix it? Thanks Frank frank |

Let's see... the other two are "identification" and "share control" if I remember correctly? Share control should only appear if file and printer sharing is enabled, I beleive. As for identification, ... hmm. I'm not sure. What protocols are installed? frank wrote: > I have WIN 98 SE and when I click on Network in the > control panel the network window pops up but it only has > one selection tab, (configuration) and it is missing the > other two tabs. The Identification and Access Control tabs appear when you install either Client for Microsoft Networks or File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks. -- Best Wishes, Steve Winograd, MS-MVP (Windows Networking) Please post any reply as a follow-up message in the news group for everyone to see.
