Default wireless

Good Day

I'm converting an windows box over to RH9.
My usb wireless network box (netgear ma111) is not supported' thus I
will need to go out and install a wireless nic card in the puter -
Question - Who has the best linux wireless nic card- all the vendors seam to
be for Windows.

I have a wireless G adapter from linksys. There aren't any Linux
drivers but there is something that allows you to use the Windows
drivers through Linux. Can't think of it off of the top of my head, but
you may want to investigate.

Also, in the past, I was able to get a Wireless-B adapter working. You
just have to manually create the
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth# file. This might work with
your's as well.

We use Orinocco Gold and Silver cards on RH9 with no problems..

They are also sold under the name WaveLan, and others.
