Falscher Zeichensatz VNC??

Hab hier Suse 9.1 mit Zugriff von Win2000 ? XP über VNC.

Bei Suse 8.2 war noch alles klar mit den Zeichen z.B. 2 (sollte ein at sein)

Und genau da liegt das Problem. Gebe ich mit AltGr ein Zeichen ein klappt
das nicht mehr.

Oder selbst der Dollar alleine kommt nicht, sondern eine 4.

well, what I understand that you want to access win2000/xp from your
suse 9.1 through VNC ... but you could do the same with suse 8.2.

hmm.

You might try that tightvnc at http://tightvnc.com/download.html. It
works.

I've heard my friend using SuSE 9.0 with Desktop Sharing 1.0. You
might try that instead of VNC.

AFAIK, SuSe 9.1 uses UTF-8 encoding, maybe that causes the problem. You
could try to change the encoding on your linux box to de_DE or something
like that.

Sorry for writing my problem in german language. I tested to change the
encoding on the vnc client but nothing happens. I thin when it worked befor
on the same client but with a 8.2 Suse Server it must be on the server
where i have to change something. The problem are the character (at, used
in email adresses, and the other ones they are made with "Alt-Gr" and the
Dollar sign. All these on the swiss german Keyboard.

Hole dir die neueste Version vnc-4.0-1.i386 aus dem Netz. Damit
klappt's.
