Hello,
I have installed vsftpd on RH9. Within the local network everything is ok, I can connect as anonymous. But when the connection is made from the outside, the message is : "530 User anonymous cannot log in". I have checked every configuration options in order to allow anonymous login, but I could'nt find the one I have to change. Any help appreciated, Regards, Vincent Vincent Schmid |

Thank you Prezu,
After some more testing it appears that the server will accept connections from the outside. My friends can connect, only I can't connect from home. When I connect from home using my external ip address, it seems that I actually reach another FTP server : probably the FTP server of my provider, or the FTP server inside my ADSL router... And the error message I received was not from MY FTP server! Well there is something still obscure here...
