Win 98 to Win XP

I've got the following logging Win 98 to XP.

Trying to share a data base (*.mdb ext) which is in sub-directory "xxx"
which in turn is installed under "programs" on the XP.

I've enabled "share" the "xxx" subdirectory, giving permission to the 2
users.
In theory, they should be able to see this "xxx" subdirectory via their 98
Network Neighborhood just like they see the other "shared" files on the XP.

Yet in fact the "xxx" directory does not show up in the Network Neighborhood
of either user.

Furthermore, when I check the Network Neighborhood on the XP, the "xxx" does
indeed show up albeit not in it's normal order in the directory.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
