Default Can't get Network Neighbourhood to show on Desktop

Hi,

I'm trying to get Network Neighbourhood to show on desktop. I've removed
and added Microsoft for Network, File and Print Sharing. TCP/IP and netbeui
have been removed and re-added. Communications has been removed and added
and still I can't get Network Neighbourhood to show!

Can someone help! Anything else I should look into?

Thanks

Someone might have hidden Network Neighborhood using Tweak UI. Go to
Control Panel. If Tweak UI is present, double click it. On the
Desktop tab, put a check mark in the Network Neighborhood box, click
Apply and OK.

If this doesn't work, go to Control Panel | Network. Remove Client
for Microsoft Networks if it's present. Then add Client for Microsoft
Networks. That should make Network Neighborhood re-appear.

If that doesn't work, there could be a system policy hiding Network
Neighborhood. Run the registry editor, open this key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\Explorer

and delete the value named "NoNetHood".

Thanks,

Removing Client for MS Networks worked. However, this was the third time
that I had removed it and then re-installed it. Don't know why it would do
that.

Anyway, all is fine now. Thanks for the pointer.
