Anyone have any ideas??? Thanks. After switching the cable modem from one computer to the other, reset the cable modem by turning it off, waiting a few seconds, and turning it back on. Some cable modem ISPs require you to contact the ISP and register the MAC address of a computer's network card. -- Best Wishes, Steve Winograd, MS-MVP (Windows Networking) Please post any reply as a follow-up message in the news group for everyone to see. Anyone have any ideas??? Thanks. Is it a USB modem? Have you installed USB drivers for W98? http://members.driverguide.com/drive...riverid=125528 |
