Default Can't see LAN Connection icon

Running Windows 98. HP Pavilion 6635. Computer crashed so I just re-ran
the HP Application Recovery. Before this computer connected to the internet
via LAN. Now I don't even see the LAN icon, just one for dial up. How can I
get LAN back on the system.

Windows 98 does not have a LAN icon in the system tray. This was probably
provided by an add-on program you installed.
