I have a laptop Win 98SE working fine on a hard wired hub
home network. If it ain't broke don't fix it, but decided to go wireless. Linksys wireless card installation resulted in the computer showing an error entitled "TCP/IP network transport not installed." I have deleted & reinstalled every network component & hardware insight without resolution. even with no network components or hardware installed, as the computer boots, it gives this error. Incredibly, Linksys denies this is their problem even though their software caused this. The knowledge base has no references. I have even tried reinstalling the PCMCIA drivers. nada. I am really irritated with Linksys. how can I proceed? thanks for any help. Jan Hinnen |
