I have 2 windows 98 se computers that will not logon to my nt 4.0 server. I
get the following message "The domain password you supplied is not correct, or access to your logon server has been denied." From the server I can access the local "c" drive on the affected machines. =?Utf-8?B?cXVlc3Rpb24=?= |

Thank you - The NT Server currently has existing passwords and accounts for
the two affected workstations. The passwords seem to be correct. Do you have any suggestions about how I can troubleshoot this problem? LOL so the user names and passwords on the win98 machines are exactly the same as the user accounts? upper/lower case matters... do not log onto the domain....just do a "logon and restore network connections" if the username/password is set correctly on NT , it will allow access. if the username/password does not match , then win98 cannot access shares on NT. as far as troubleshooting ...have you tried deleting an recreating those user accounts ? |
