Hello,
I want install a FTP - server on my Suse Linux 8.1 system but I can't found a ftp server package on my CD's. Can you tell me a URL from a good FTP - server? Thanks Matthias Matthias Wagler |

Did you actually *look*? I haven't used SuSE fora little while, but unless you are running SuSE 'Personal' vs 'Professional', there are *multiple* ftp servers on the install medial, like proftpd, wuftpd, and possibly even vsftpd. In the event you are running the 'Personal' edition, I'd still recommend browsing the SuSE ftp site and finding the RPM's you need there, so you know it is set up to work w/ SuSE's way of dealing w/ config files. nuk -- I know more than enough *nix to do some very destructive things, and not nearly enough to do very many useful things. |
