Hi,
I have a rather scarce problem. Or atleast a problem which has not been solved as far as my 2 week search lasted. I installed Debian 3.0 from CD and selected, in the modules insertion menu, the driver for a SiS900 Ethernetcard. This immediately gave me the error that the card is unavailable. .... SIOCSFFLAGS : Resource unavailable..... Now this ethernetcard is on-board, so I figured that there must be some weird driver for it. So I stacked in a RTL8139 ethernetcard, a very common card. When I inserted the rtl8139 driver for this card it also gave an error: .... SIOCSFFLAGS : Device busy or unavailable..... Last time I had this I just stacked it in another PCI slot and all was jolly again. But not this time. I tried all slots. I also tried compiling my own version of the SiS900 driver. This did not help me in any way. The motherboard has some settings which i tried also, but nothing helped me even 1 step further. Does anyone know what to do? Below are some outputs, which might help you helping me :-> Hielke Hoeve Hielke Hoeve |
