Default Problem on ADSL + IPtable

Hi,

I have just setup RH 9.0 running iptable as firewall and use ADSL modem to
connect Internet. Everything works fine at the beginning.
However, I find that the ADSL connection down and up every 1 min. As a
result, the iptable can't works properly.

Is there anyway to make the ADSL connecting permantly ? Is there way that
the iptable not be affected by ADSL connection?

Eddy

Where are you from? It sounds rather like ISP problem ...

What do you mean by `iptable`? If it's iptables (routing + firewall) it
definitely should work after the line is up again ...

Real programmers don't work from 9 to 5. If any real programmers
are around at 9am it's because they were up all night
