wifi cafe

Lo i have a mate who owns a small cafe and he wants to draw more business by
offering internet access for people with there own laptops to come in and
use.
would the best way just set up a wireless router and gateway plus connect
to an isp with unlimeted downloads or wouldit be better for a more specific
way any help will be much appreciated.

the first method is fine ... but if he sets an ecryption key that can
only be divulged to paying customers of the cafe he'd still be offering
free access but would generate revenue too. just a thought.
