Default Variable Bandwidth/Speed on LAN

Hi,
I have three machines on a LAN, each with live IP addy's and
connected to the net via a four port router on a DSL connection.

I'm looking for a software solution, to vary (or restrict) the
bandwidth permitted on each machine using existing hardware. I am
running Ms Windows 98, 2000 and XP Pro.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Mike.

I don't know about Windows compatibility but this package works out pretty
good:
