Default networking

I have a desk top with Win98SE, a Notebook with XP, I have
used a router to set up a network. I can access cable
internet from both computers, and can access the network
from the Notebook. However when I try to access the
network from the desk top I get a message "Unable to
Browse the Network. The Network is not accessible".
