I receive the following error message when I try to login
to the domain from the Windows 98 client. Message: Microsoft Networking The share name was not found. Be sure you typed it correctly. This error is intermittent. I created a LMHOSTS file with the IP addresses of our Domain controllers and WINS servers. The saved the LMHosts file in the c:\windows folder on the Windows 98 client. Theresa Pallo |

If you have an AD network, you shouldn't need either LMHOSTS or a WINS
server reference. Your network stack does, however, need to have as its primary the AD's DNS reference.
