I just bought a Hawking Technology 6-db hi-gain wireless -b/-g antenna from
Newegg: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...164-133&depa=0 It solved all of my connection problems. It's amazing. No more disconnects. No more wild signal strength fluctuations. I connected it to my WMP54G internal wireless adapter, set the antenna on my desk, and my Linksys wireless-g network connection has been running rock solid all evening. That's the best $33 I've spent in a long time. Hackworth |

Or, you could have built your own patch antenna: http://www.rc-cam.com/gp_patch.htm I'm not sure I like using galvanized sheet metal (high skin resistance) or wood (hydroscopic) for a dielectric, but it apparently works. Another do it thyself patch antenna: http://www.qsl.net/k3tz/k3tz.html -- Jeff Liebermann (E-Mail Removed) 150 Felker St #D http://www.LearnByDestroying.com Santa Cruz CA 95060 AE6KS 831-336-2558 |
