After two years of working fine, my W98 SE laptop will no
longer connect to the server. Every time after entering the username and password for login to the network, I receive the following error: No domain server available to validate your password I have switched network cards, cables and have uninstalled/reinstalled the protocols and drivers. I am attempting to connect to a Win2K server. The other computers on the network have no problem connecting. I have done everything I could find in the MS Knowledge Base that deals with this issue. When you try to log on from your client computer that is connected to an
10/100 Ethernet hub with a 10/100 autosensing Ethernet adapter installed, you may receive one or more of the following error messages: No domain controller was available to validate your logon. You have been logged on with cached credentials. No domain controller was found to validate your password. No domain controller was found to validate your account. No domain controller found or domain does not exist. See the Microsoft KB article for help http://support.microsoft.com/default...&Product=win20 00 Hope this helps.
