Due to some problem with out ISP the cable tech support
asked us to re-boot our computer with the boot disk. This was BEFORE we found out that the problem was their fault. Now I am getting this "Enter Network Password" box every time I turn my computer on. I have to either click "Cancel" or "OK" and I can go on, but I want to get rid of this stupid box. When I click on Password in the Control Panel only the "User Profile" tab is there. Shouldn't there also be a tab for "Changing Password" and "Remote Adminstration"? I am running Window 98. HELP, please. christel |

Hi Christel,
How to Prevent a Windows 95/98/Me Logon Prompt at Startup: ^password http://support.microsoft.com/support.../q152/1/04.asp If "Client for Microsoft Networks" is needed under Primary Network Tweakui can be used to logon automatically. http://snurl.com/i47 Ensure the Clear last user at logon option on the Paranoia tab is disabled before using this option. Then go to the Logon tab and check "Logon automatically at system startup" Fill in the User name and Password. -- Regards, Bert Kinney [MS-MVP DTS] http://dts-l.org/ How to Configure Outlook Express for Internet News: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=171164 "christel" wrote > Due to some problem with out ISP the cable tech support > asked us to re-boot our computer with the boot disk.
