Palm T3 and BT usb

I know this isn't a palm/bluetooth forum, but. I have a Palm T3 and a
kennsington usb dongle. I have tried everything to get the internet up and
running on the T3 to no avail. I can hot sync no problem. I have
downloaded the Palm Web Pro 3.0, still no internet connect. Keep getting
"error: Serial: timeout. could be bad cable or faulty modem. (0x0305)"
Any suggestions??

My advice is to give up. I too have a T3 and a laptop with a 3Com Bluetooth
PCMCIA card. I have found various web pages describing how to create a
connection to allow surfing on the T3 using the laptop's internet
connection, via Bluetooth, and I get the same problem as you. I've no idea
how to fix it.

I can Hotsync without problems over Bluetooth, can print to my Bluetooth
printer (from laptop, phone or PDA) and can transfer files from phone (T68i)
to T3 etc. etc.. I can connect with Bluetooth from the PDA to the phone to
dialup and access the internet and email with no problem. The only thing
that doesn't work is this internet connection sharing over Bluetooth to my
laptop.

If anyone has an answer that works I'd love to hear it.
