upnp.dll error message installing mn-520 wireless adapter

Trying to install software for mn-520 on older notebook
running 98 SE (V 4.10.2222A. Continue to get error
message "error occurred while loading
C:\Windows\System\upnp.dll. File may not have been
installed or has been corrupted." Installation will not
complete.

Have tried to reinstall 98SE and .dll file is present,
but not recognized. Fix available? Source of
uncorrupted file? How to install if there is?
