Have several computers networked together with OS ranging
from Win95 through XP and 2003 Server and everything between, and have a variety of problems getting them to play together. Is there a good guide/reference book slightly above the "for Dummies" level to help sort things out? Ol' Duffer |

If you can't get THAT to work then you ARE at the " for dummies" level and
you should be looking at the " for dummies" books. Without specific info on your problems, no one here can or will help you. Document your ails, do some google searching, do some reading, and ONLY THEN make a stupid post to this forum. (IE. I have a network-several OS-many problems-free info-I am smart) quick summary of your post. You might try the Dummies books... I have a bookshelf full of them and it
reassures my clients a lot when I pull them out. A couple useful websites: http://www.cablesense.com/ http://www.homenethelp.com/ Or, you could describe your variety of problems here, and there are various helpful folks who enjoy a challenge, who might help you. Cheers, Chuck Paranoia comes from experience - and is not necessarily a bad thing. |
