This may not be the correct forum for this question ...so apologies in
advance if not! All I want to do is use my Samsung X10 laptop with XP to connect to the Internet (via dialup) without having to connect to normal wire. I also want to be able to print to my printer without having to use the cable too. Can anyone tell me in simple language if it is possible and how to do it? Maybe there is a good 'how to' site somewhere? I know it must be possible and simple but Im damned if I can find any articles on the subject. By the way I am not trying to create any sort of network. I only have one laptop!!! C Tate |

SMC7004AWBR should do the trick unless you have a USB printer. http://www.smc.com/index.cfm?sec=Pro...prod=63&site=c -- Lucas Tam ((E-Mail Removed)) Please delete "REMOVE" from the e-mail address when replying. http://members.ebay.com/aboutme/coolspot18/ |

You should look for a wireless router that supports dial up connection. Not
many do. While looking, it should have a print server feature as well. You will need a wireless PCMCIA card for the laptop. Wireless connections to dial ups are pretty uncommon. i use the ambicom air2net wireless printer kit, which enables me to print
from laptop anywhere in the house to my laserjet and inkjet situated upstairs. this kit is usb only but does the trick, albeit a little slow sometimes if a big printoff. just plug the a-type usb dongle in your pc and the other b-type usb dongle into the back of printer!!
