Default Hotmail access through wireless network

Hello all,

Since installing a wireless network at home I cannot login to Hotmail. All
other internet access has been fine, (including other web based email). MS
have advised I uninstall IE6 and reinstall... which I've done with no
success. The network has 128 bit encryption enabled and connects to a 512kb
ADSL connection. Does anyone have any ideas that I could try for this?

Thanks,
Burt

Thanks, but that's all ok. I can access other SSL sites with no problem.
Just to test it I have temporarily allowed all traffic inbound and outbound
but I still cannot gain access.

I see you are in the UK.

Make sure your MTU setting is 1458 on all your PC's

You can use the MTU adjustment tool at
http://62.172.198.79/broadband1/upda...x.asp#20030131 if you don't know
how to do this otherwise.

If that doesn't work, post here with some details such as is it a ad-hoc
network or are you using a wireless router/modem (and if so what make)

Regards
Sunil
