Networking question

I have 2 computers:
Desktop w/ Windows 2000
Motion 1300 Tablet PC w/ Windows XP Tablet Edition

My Router:
D-Link D1-624

Desktop is plugged into wireless router with cable.
TabletPC uses D-Link DWL-G650 wireless card

Problem:
I have no problem sharing my internet connection (DSL) between the 2
computers but I have not the slightest clue how I can set up the network so
I can share files between the 2 computers.

Any help to find a tutorial, FAQ, etc ... will be greatly appreciated.

Well, I'll suggest that you hit Goggle and search on *How to do File and
Print Sharing with XP*. I am sure you'll get plenty of hits.

As a network newbie this site got me up and running

I think most people getting routers/wireless net/wk hardware just want to
share an internet connection and the file sharing/network feature of this
hardware is almost hidden away from those less knowledgeable!!! I'd been
connected and sharing an internet connection for weeks before I even
suspected that I might be able to network/share files etc.

Just a thought.
