Any manufactures carry power on different pins?

is the standard (not industry implemented), pins 4&5
or is it 7 & 8

I have hear on some equipment that its both. i.e. 4&5 for positive and 7&8
for ground. Then there is phantom power with supplies it on the transmit
and receive pairs (I manually verified on a Cisco phone, only wired 4
pins).
