The High Throughput Study Group completed its PAR for submission to the
IEEE 802 Executive Committee for the creation of a High Throughput Task
Group. A chair for the new group was selected and the new Task Group,
IEEE 802.11n, which will begin work immediately even though it will not
get official recognition until September.
