I want to put a wired IP camera in my shed.
I have a wireless ADSL router at the moment, (BT Voyager 2110). I am not willing to run a cable from my house to the shed. The only solution I can see is to have the camera connected to a wireless hub/bridge, as I think a wireless router which just complicate matters. Can anyone foresee any problems with this setup, and suggest a suitable wireless hub/bridge. Thanks Laurence.. Laurence Baker |

A wireless router probably wouldn't work anyway. > Can anyone foresee any problems with this setup, and suggest a suitable > wireless hub/bridge. Have a look at the thread "Using a 2nd ADSL modem/router on existing network" (13 Jan). Your situation is basically equivalent (except that you've explicitly said that a cable is not an option); Linker3000's and my responses apply. Alex |
