Default networking issue

Hi there,

I have a network which i am really getting annoyed with, i will try to
discribe.

While our house is being completely re-done (a lot of work to do), i am
staying in a static caravan about 200 meters away across the farm.

ADSL modem/router (combi) is in the house and i have used 2 aerials (one on
house and one on caravan) to get broadband in caravan.

Issues!!!!!!
1. trees are now growing leaves and there are 3 trees in line of sight of
aerials and a stable, which isnt in line of sight, but near by, and the wifi
connection is intermitant.

Also i have had to use a extension cable for telephone to put my adsl/router
up stairs for aerials sake, but the adsl signal is intermitant!!

I have 3 different extention cables (2 from maplins, brand new) and an old
one.

All are the same, sometimes work, sometimes dont.

Are there any solutions to this.

I was thinking of 200m of network cable from the house to the caravan, will
the signal be fine, i bet it will be better than wifi!!

But the telephone extention, is there special cable to take a broadband
signal elsewhere in house or what???
