Default DG834GT setup problems

Hallo,

I have received my new Netgear DG834GT ASDL modem/route yesterday. I
have not done the setup for the Internet and router functions yet –
I'm waiting for the telephone company to activate my ASDL line. I want
to do the wireless setup, but when I select the wireless setup link, I
get only a blank page. I have connected via Internet explorer to the
default IP address and I have used the default username and password.
Is there some setting I have overlooked in order to activate the
wireless setup?

Leon

I've got the same setup as you: DG834GT connected by Cat 5 to a PC running
IE, but no connection yet to ADSL until the line is enabled in the next few
days.

All the router's config screens worked for me: none were blank. Do the rest
of the screens produce sensible, non-blank pages? If you've got a pop-up
blocker (eg Norton) try temporarily disabling it to see if it makes a
difference.
