Default stop/ restrict internet access



Hi

Is there a way to stop/ restrict internet access on a restricted account in
windows XP Home

A friend of mine want to stop his young son accessing the internet on his
account

If he has dial-up or a single broadband modem (as opposed to a router) how
about turning off "remember password" so the friend has to enter a password
that his son doesn't know.

cant you do this in XP

delete the connection on the youngsters account but still have it on the
admin account?

unless the youngen knows how to setup the internet connection then hes
knackered, also try uninstalling the modem device if you use a modem

i dont think on restricted XP accounts users can install new software or
certain software, this would stop him from getting the adapter to work and
would ultimately prevent him from getting on the net
