Wireless beginnings...

Hi,

First post to this group.....
Currently have a PC and laptop connected together via wireless. The laptop
shares the internet connection on the PC which uses a USB ADSL modem.
Ideally I would like to be able to access the internet from the laptop
without having the PC turned on. Would I be correct in thinking that this
would be possible to do if I purchased a ADSL Modem/Router into which I
would plug my wireless access point?
