Network Connection: Type or Status incomplete?

I'm sure that my network connections folder used to show, under either
the type or status column three pieces of information:

1) Connected (or dial-up depending on which of the above columns is
right)

2) If the connection was shared

3) If the connection was firewalled.

I seem to have completely lost the last two.

Anyone able to suggest what I may have messed up, and how to put it
right?
