peer to peer wireless home network

Default peer to peer wireless home network



When play Age of Mythology over my peer to peer wireless home network, The
game sometimes say`s my ip address has changed and i need to restart the
game.
Can anyone tell me how i stop the ip from changing while playing games?

My system
OS: Windows XP Home Ed
Ram: 1024 Mb
Hard Drive: 160Gb
CPU: AMD 2600xp
The Wireless card is (Belkin 11Mbps (F5D6001 V.2))

Yep. Do it properly and get a cheap access point. Ad Hoc is the most
unreliable way of making a connection.

Something is assigning IP addresses automatically. Find your IP
address and make it static.
