Default faster than 100MBps?

I keep reading about full duplex Ethernet that has transfer rates of 200MBps
what is this and how do you set this up?

I want to record / play TV from one server PC down Ethernet to a TV
connected to my TV
100MBps is better than wireless but a film can be 4GB and if transfer rate
is less than the speed the film is watched it will keep stopping to catch up

Half duplex means that each PC can send or receive , but not both.
The total bandwidth for traffic in both directions is therefore 100MBPS

Full duplex allows sending and receiving simultaneously so you have a total
bandwidth of 200MBPS. You still won't get more than 100 in either direction
though.

100 full duplex is plenty fast enough for that.
If you wanted any faster then you would have to step up to Gigabit ethernet.

Your average DVD Movie streams at about 7MB anyway so the bandwidth should
be plenty enough. The DVD's I have backed up onto my shared drive can be
played by the other PC's in my house that are using wireless connections
with no lag problems ever happening.
