netgear configuration & adsl

I am planning an ADSL upgrade of my "demon internet" account with
Demon Express
Solo.

I am planning to buy a Netgear DM602 and have dowmloaded the user
guide in advance of buying it. Now I am a bit unclear what settings to
use... can you please help.

1. VPI = 0 ?
2. VCI = 32 ?
3. Login Name = I assume it will be my usual user name
4. Password = I think I set this up when I convert my account ?
5. Service name = I have no idea what this is !!!
6. Internet IP address = I guess this will be my fixed IP address -
Does Demon tell me this ?
7. Subnet mask = Ugh ?
8. Gateway IP address = double ugh ?
9. DNS Server IP = I think demon tells me this as well ?

Are there any extra bits I need to be aware of. Has anyone managed to
get their Netgear working fully with Demon.

My DM602 works fine with BT broadband.

VPI/VCI are determined by your ISP. Mine uses 0 and 38.
I also have multiplexing method set to "VC-based".
Login is your usual broadband login.
Password is self explanatory.
Service name? No idea - my DM602 didn't ask for that - I guess it is
just something to refer to it by, such as "Demon Internet"?
IP address - mine is set to 192.168.1.2
Subnet mask - set to 255.255.255.0
Gateway IP - 192.168.0.1
DNS address - I have this set to "automatic".
