I currently have a Netgear DG814 (with which I am very pleased) providing ADSL access to 3
wired PCs. I have allocated private IP addresses to the 3 PCs so that I can utilise Port Forwarding, and all is well. However, I am now thinking of purchasing a wireless access point (Netgear ME102) plus associated equipment so that I can wirelessly connect 2 new laptops. Do I allocate a private IP address to the WAP, and/or to the 2 wireless laptops so that I can implement port forwarding ?? thanks in anticipation Steve B. --- Steve Barlow's outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). Version: 6.0.525 / Virus Database: 322 - Release Date: 09/10/2003 ste-bar |

And they all need to be in the same range and subnet, so they can all converse. graham |
