Default ADSL connection question

Hi,

I am helping a friend with a Vigor 2600WE who needs to connect his
system to the ADSL network. Basicly he has the standard patch lead
for connecting his computer to the router, then he has what appear to
be two ADSL leads and on the back of the router to the left of the
RJ45 ports he has two extra sockets. This is all being done remotely
so i can't help much unless I know which ADSL wire to put into which
socket.

Thanks,
Andrew.

I don't know about Vigors but one will probably be for the modem (IN) the
other could well be an OUT for the telephone.

Check the manual maybe?

Okay just looked at Vigor's site:

http://www.draytek.com.tw/english/pr...600_x_w_we.php

One is for ADSL, one is for ISDN. Maybe he should have looked at the manual
or the labellng of the ports?! (The picture shows that it is clearly written
on the device).
