OK, here's another question: When you set an MN-700 into Access Point
mode, is it possible to force it to use a specific IP address? I have 2 MN-700s: the main one, which is connected to my cable modem, is 192.168.1.1. I want the second MN-700, which is set in Access Point mode, to be 192.168.1.2, but it keeps getting a DHCP address (192.168.1.136) from the first MN-700. Is there any way to force the second MN-700 to be 192.168.1.2? Thanks for any assistance. Clay Johanson |

With the MN700's there is no way to manually assign an ip address when it is
in bridge mode. It will expect to find a DHCP server and get an ip via that means. -- Jason Tsang - Microsoft MVP Find out about the MS MVP Program - http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/default.aspx "Clay Johanson" <(E-Mail Removed)> wrote in message news:(E-Mail Removed) ups.com... > OK, here's another question: When you set an MN-700 into Access Point > mode, is it possible to force it to use a specific IP address?
