Default Win98SE & MN-510

Just installed an MN-500 basestation with a MN-510 wireless adapter,
connected to a machine running Win 98SE. The problem occurs when
shutting down the desktop. The machine hangs at the "Windows is shutting
down" screen and a hard reset of the machine is needed.

I know it's related to the MN-510 because when I exit the Broadband utility
and disconnect the adapter, the machine shuts down fine.

Does anyone know of any driver or configuration issues that would do this?

PS: Both pieces of hardware are running the most recent software and
firmware.

Thanks for any help.

Is it both the software running AND the adapter being plugged it.......have
you tried one at a time.

Relatively speaking, knowing you're using Win98, I'm not too surprised
either could be the case. But I would think removing the card could be all
you need to do.

Thanks for the info, Steve. It's the hardware, not the
software. Somehow, it's refusing to unload the driver at
the Shut Down request. Any ideas?

Thanks again,

Reynold
