I have just moved into a new home and had cable tv and
internet installed. I have two computers and have used a MN-700 router and MN-730 PCI adapter to connect to the internet through a DSL service. I tried hooking it up with the cable service through my pc, but didn't have much luck. The other computer saw the wireless network and the network indicated that it was working properly, but the curser and the internet icons on explorer were rapidly blinking and I could not connect to the internet. Can someone tell me what I did wrong or what I didn't do. Thanks. edr |

You need to reconfigure the Internet access for the cable.
Use IE and go to 192.168.2.1. You need only to change the settings on the WAN screen -- you may need data from the cable company to know what type of connection they use (dynamic, static, PPPoe; DNS settings). You may want to give it a try and set it to dynamic, since it's the simpler setting, and call the cable company if it does not work >-----Original Message----- >I have just moved into a new home and had cable tv and >internet installed.
