Is there anywhere to get the Broadband Network software
for a MN500 wireless router?

I downloaded the software for the notebook card but need
the program for the router!

Dear Charles,

Same place you got the notebook adapter software...

http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/br...etworking/10_D
LoadMain.mspx

Look at the bottom of the page and find...

"Setup and Network Utility CD
If you've lost your Microsoft Broadband Networking CD and
you need to install the software on a new computer, you
can download the contents of the installation CD.

» MSBNSoftware.exe (12.7MB)"

You don't need the software to configure the router. You can always
just go to http://192.168.2.1 and configure it from there. All the
software does is forward you to that page with some parts of the IE
window disabled.

The software is only needed to configure wireless connections of
versions of Windows before Windows XP because they don't fully support
wireless networking. That is to say they don't support WEP or WPA.
