Default 710 adapter wireless

my 710 adapter was connected to mn-500 base updated
firmware, then suddenly it lost connection. it came back
once or twice, within 5 min worked fine but then lost it
again. now my adapter can't even find my base anymore. i
didn't change any settings, i was just sitting there
watching it happen.
what can i do to fix this.

Make sure SSID broadcasts are enabled on the router, and
that ieee 802.1x is unchecked in the 710.
